Looks like the energy is filtering downwards into a funnel-like opening on the lower right. Know you said the lower register needs work, but that is something new I have not yet seen in these works.
I will retain the funnel/drain but somehow pump up the bottom 1/4. Might just be some saturated blacks to add a bit more contrast. Might also let a bit more high value come into the upper section. Am okay with the lavender top third.
